In 1977 the Design and Manufacture office was founded by three Industrial Design Majors Graduates and few lecturers from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan and by the designers and architects.
The office used their own resources to design and manufacture its products. Studio was equipped with the necessary carpenters machinery.
For years Design and Manufacture office continued its initiative and gained broad experience in terms of design, manufacturing , organizational and structural matters.
Founders became professionals in the field of industrial design.
One of them set up his own company under the KLUS name. It is located in Piaseczno, Warsaw. The founder of KLUS initiative continues to design and manufacture furntiure and industrial design merchandises. Many of the KLUS products were patented and published in various magazines such as: Dom i Wnetrze, Projekt, MD, Der Spiegel and Impulse.
KLUS company manufactures its products as well as outsources the production elsewhere. The company also sells manufacturing rights licenses for its products.
Today KLUS company designs and manufactures modern furniture, innovative products and also provides designs for the “KLIMEK & KLUS” company.
